Ottawa 67's News Release
OTTAWA - Ottawa 67's forward Jack Quinn has been named on the 25-man roster that will represent Canada at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship in Edmonton.
2020 keeps getting better on the ice for the Cobden native. Recently drafted by the Buffalo Sabres, Quinn will now have the opportunity to represent his country for the first time on one of hockey's biggest stage.
"We are thrilled for Jack, who will be a valuable asset to Team Canada with his versatility and attention to detail, with which 67s fans have become so familiar," said 67's General Manager James Boyd.
The Sabres selected Quinn with the eighth overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. The forward is coming off a 52-goal, 89-point campaign in 62 games with the Ottawa 67s in 2019-20.
The 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship will be played from December 25, 2020 to January 5, 2021.
