Ottawa Champions News Release
Ottawa, ON - With the Cuban National Team in town for an historic series, the Ottawa Champions are celebrating with post-game fireworks.
The display will take place after the second game of the series on Saturday, June 18th and will be open to anyone who has a ticket to that night's game.
It will be the first time for fireworks at RCGT Park since the Lynx called Ottawa home.
The fireworks will be just one small part of the highly-anticipated series against the Cuban National Team, which will also include a first pitch on Friday night by Cuban Ambassador H.E. Julio GarmendÃa Peña, and a Father's Day matinee on Sunday.
The Champions have just returned home for a nine-game homestand beginning Tuesday with a three game series against the Quebec Capitales, followed by three against Cuba and three more against the Trois-Rivieres Aigles. Tickets are available online at www.ottawachampions.com, by phone at 613-745-2255, and in person at the RCGT Park box office.
