ABOUT LAST GAME: The Fireflies edged out the RiverDogs, 2-1, in the series opener on Thursday night at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park. The squad scored both runs in the top of the eighth. Edgardo Fermin knocked in Rigoberto Terrazas with an triple. Raphael Gladu plated Fermin with a double. Tony Dibrell was sharp in his seventh start of the season. The righty lasted seven frames and had seven strikeouts.
