SALISBURY, MD - Due to continuing inclement weather conditions across the Eastern Shore, Friday night's Delmarva Shorebirds-Hagerstown Suns game has been postponed. The Shorebirds and Suns will make the game up at a later date to be determined.
In addition, Friday night's scheduled Jonathan Schoop replica jersey giveaway, presented by Delaware Express, has been rescheduled to Thursday, June 7. The first 1,000 fans through the gate for the Shorebirds' finale against Greensboro will receive the Schoop jersey.
Delmarva and Hagerstown will begin their now-three-game series on Saturday night with Cameron Bishop (3-2, 2.19) matching up against Nick Raquet (2-4, 2.56). First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. with gates opening at 4:00 for batting practice. Saturday is PRMC Pink Pitch Night, featuring pink jerseys that will be auctioned off at the end of the game to benefit the Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute at PRMC. It's also Little League Night and will feature postgame Q105 Fireworks. Pregame coverage of the first game on Fox Sports 960 AM and the MiLB First Pitch app begins at 6:50 with Will DeBoer and Drew Williams on the call.
