Firebirds Set to Host Playoffs for First-Time Ever this Weekend, Take on Attack in Round One of the OHL Playoffs

Flint, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds are coming off their best regular season in franchise history and are set to host a playoff round for the first time ever beginning this weekend at the Dort Financial Center.

They welcome in the Owen Sound Attack for Games 1 and 2 this Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. Get your tickets NOW at etix.com HERE, over the phone at 1-800-514-3849, or in person at the Dort Financial Center Box Office (Open from 11-5 this week).

First Round Schedule

Game 1: Friday, April 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dort Financial Center

Game 2: Saturday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dort Financial Center

Game 3: Monday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Owen Sound

Game 4: Wednesday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Owen Sound

Game 5 (if necessary): Sunday, May 1 at 4:00 p.m. at the Dort Financial Center

Game 6 (if necessary): Tuesday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Owen Sound

Game 7 (if necessary): Wednesday, May 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dort Financial Center

Current and new season ticket holders will receive a $2 discount on all tickets during the 2021-22 OHL playoffs and will have their seats reserved until 24 hours before puck drop for each game. Additionally, all season ticket holders' parking passes will be eligible for the duration of the playoffs.

Playoff group rates will be $2 off groups of 10-49 off regular priced tickets, $3 off groups of 50-99 and $4 off groups of 100+. For more information on booking your playoff group please contact Dominic Gutierrez at domg@flintfirebirds.com.

The Firebirds will embark on four playoff rounds of best-of-seven series each, for the J. Ross Robertson Cup. This coveted trophy is awarded annually to the Ontario Hockey League Playoff Champion. At the end of the 2021-22 OHL regular season, the top four teams in the Western Conference Standings will host teams five-through-eight in the first round. The hosting teams will host games one, two, five and seven on their home ice in each round.
