
Firebirds Acquire 2022 2nd Round Pick from Peterborough

Flint, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds announced today that they have acquired a 2nd-round pick (originally with the Barrie Colts) in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection draft from the Peterborough Petes. Flint is sending back their own 2023 3rd-round pick and a 2024 2nd-round pick (originally with the Hamilton Bulldogs).
The Firebirds now have five picks in the first three rounds of tomorrow night's OHL Priority Selection draft. Flint will have picks #18, 33, 46, 55 and 57.
The OHL Priority Selection begins tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. ET with Rounds 1-3. Rounds 4-15 take place beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, April 30. The entire Priority Selection draft is free to stream on CHL TV.
