
FireAntz sting Havoc at home

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Fayetteville FireAntz scored three goals in the second period on their way to a 4-3 win over the Huntsville Havoc Friday night.
Josh Piro, Robert Sich and Marc Norrington all scored for Fayetteville in the second after Josh Welter scored in the first.
The Havoc got a first period powerplay goal by Craig Bushey and second period goals by Luke Phillips and Trevor Karasiewicz but it wasn't enough.
Chad Collins stopped 29 shots in the win. Matt Carmichael stopped 29 in the loss. Fayetteville was 0-4 on the powerplay while the Havoc was 1-6.
The Havoc will host the Knoxville Ice Bears tomorrow night at 7:30 as Intergraph presents Military Appreciation Night.
