His best season was in 2000-01 playing for the Kalamazoo Wings where he was 10-6-3 with a .911 save percentage and a 3.02 goals against average.

"This is a big signing for us." Head Coach Derek Booth added, "He's certainly a goalie who can take us where we need to be. We will be counting on him heavily this year."

Roy, a 5'10'' 190 pound defenseman out of Ottawa, Ontario returns to the FireAntz after playing with the club last year. In 29 games he registered 18 points, netting 1 goal and 17 assists. He also had 49 penalty minutes.

"R.J. is coming back to Fayetteville with great enthusiasm." Booth said, "He expressed a desire to put up some good numbers, but more importantly to help the team win," Booth said.

Season tickets, mini-plans and group tickets for the 2004-05 season are now available. Great seat locations still remain. Contact the FireAntz office at (910) 321-0123 for more information.
