FireAntz Bagley Named SEHL Player of the Week

[FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.] – The South East Hockey League (SEHL) announced today that David Bagley has been named Player of the Week. The native of Rochester, New York, scored five goals and added two assists for 7 points in three games last week. Bagley netted a hat trick on Friday, January 30th to lead the FireAntz over Winston-Salem, 6-4. Bagley leads the FireAntz in scoring this season with 18 goals, 17 assists, and 35 points.

Keeping the South East Hockey League weekly awards in Cape Fear, Kevin Fines was named goaltender of the week for the second time this season. Fines went 2-1 on the week, stopping 95 of 108 shots. Since joining the FireAntz this season, Fines has a record of 7-3, a goals against average of 2.99, one shutout, and a 91.2 save percentage.

News and Notes: Dave Leger, Rob Vessio, and Scott Young combined for 15 points last week. Leger had a goal and three assists, Vessio had four assists in his debut weekend with the FireAntz, and Young had a goal and six assists.
