Rockford and Charlotte have not met since the Midwest Division rivals played back-to-back contests in North Carolina on Jan. 26 and 27. The IceHogs are 2-2-0-2 versus the Checkers this season, but are just 0-1-0-1 at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Two of Rockford's final three games this week come against Charlotte.

As the regular season winds down, the IceHogs are looking to end the campaign on a winning streak after dropping two straight contests last weekend in Lake Erie. While the losses eliminated Rockford from the Western Conference playoff race, the Hogs will finish the 2011-12 season with at least a .500 record for the eighth straight season.

Next Home Game: Friday, April 13 vs. Milwaukee Admirals. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. Midwest Division rivals Rockford and Milwaukee faceoff for the 12th and final time this season and for the sixth matchup at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive an IceHogs team photo courtesy of the Rockford Register Star.

For every goal that the Rockford IceHogs score in 2011-12, IceHogs head coach Ted Dent will make a donation to children's cancer research. BMO Harris Bank will also make a donation for every goal to the "BMO Harris Bank Goals For Grades"
