Final Home Stand Packed With Promos

Bangor, ME- The final home stand of the Bangor Lumberjacks' inaugural season kicks off on Tuesday, August 26 at 7:15 as the Allentown Ambassadors roll into Mahaney for three games before the Jacks take on the North Shore Spirit for four games to close out the season on September 1.

August 26 is Two for Tuesday, meaning that fans who purchase a general admission or reserved ticket, get a second one free. Tuesday's game begins at 7:15. Gates open at 6 PM.

Wednesday, come see your Lumberjacks in old Negro League uniforms as the Jacks honor baseball's past. Fans will also have a chance to win great prizes from area businesses for just sitting in their seat at our Lucky Seat Night. The gates open at 6 PM for a 7:15 start. The Jacks close out their series with the Ambassadors Thursday night at 7:15.

Friday, the Lumberjacks begin a four game series with the North Shore Spirit with a 5 PM doubleheader. The Lumberjacks take Saturday off, before resuming play with the Spirit Sunday night at 7:15. Sunday, Lumberjacks and Margaritas Restaurant, located on Mill St. in downtown Orono, have teamed up to present Mexican Fiesta Night. The Jacks will be wearing special jerseys that fans can bid on to take home via a silent auction throughout the game. After the game the Jacks will present an explosive fireworks display. Be one of the first through the gate to receive a lei and a sombrero from Margaritas Restaurant! Giveaways also include VIP dinners to Margaritas. Come party at the Lumberjacks Mexican Fiesta presented by Margaritas on Sunday, August 31 at 7:15. Gates open at 6 PM.

Monday, Bangor closes out the 2003 season with their player awards night. Voting has been taking place at the Lumberjacks Fan Service Booth throughout the latter part of the season for the Lumberjacks Most Valuable Player, Most Valuable Pitcher, and Extra Effort Award. On Monday, the winning players will be receiving awards. The game on Monday begins at 5 PM, with gates opening at 4.
