Figueroa Is Player Of The Week

BOWIE, Md. - Baysox infielder Paco Figueroa has been named Eastern League Player of the Week for the week ending April 25. Figueroa spent the week batting lead-off for the Baysox, sparking the offense by batting .481 (13-27) with one home run, seven RBIs and eight runs scored. Figueroa is currently on a six-game hitting streak and is the first Baysox player to be named Player of the Week since Nolan Reimold accomplished the feat for the week ending September 1, 2008.

Figueroa is off to a great start this year, batting .351 (20-57) with four doubles, one home run and eight RBIs in 14 games. He has hit safely in 11 of the games with six multi-hit games and he has scored multiple runs in four of those contests.
