
Fighting Saints Travel to Take on Waterloo Tonight

WATERLOO, Iowa - The Fighting Saints will aim for their third consecutive victory and seventh in their last nine games tonight in Waterloo. The Black Hawks will host the Fighting Saints for the third time at Young Arena, with the Fighting Saints still in search of their first road victory against their rival to the west. The Fighting Saints cruised to victory over the Muskegon Lumberjacks last night in Dubuque, winning 4-1 after getting off to a fast start in the first period. With the win, the Fighting Saints moved into a tie with Indiana for second place in the Eastern Conference.
The Black Hawks knocked off the Fargo Force at home last night, remaining in third place and keeping pace with the Western Conference leaders. Waterloo has earned points in six of their last seven games, getting the win in five of those contests. Ryan Papa has been a player to watch recently for the Black Hawks, scoring game-winning goals in the last three games that Waterloo has won.
The Fighting Saints and Black Hawks will tangle again next Friday in Dubuque at 7:35. The Fighting Saints will host the Youngstown Phantoms the following night in a key Eastern Conference matchup.
