Fighting Saints to Square off with Ice Tonight in Dubuque

DUBUQUE, Iowa - One night after Dubuque fell 5-3 on home ice to the Youngstown Phantoms, another important conference matchup presents itself to the Fighting Saints. The Indiana Ice come to town for the second time this season tonight, and a win would move the Fighting Saints back within two points of the Ice for second place in the Eastern Conference. The Fighting Saints hope they can count on the offense of Jono Davis, who scored the first Fighting Saints hat trick of the season last night and has scored six points in his last five games.

The Fighting Saints snapped Indiana's seven-game winning streak when the Ice came to Dubuque on January 21. Including that game, the Ice have gone only 2-2-1 over their last five contests, though they secured an impressive win last night with an overtime triumph over the first-place Gamblers in Green Bay. Daniil Tarasov has continued to rack up points for Indiana, ranking second in the USHL with fifty points, including a league second-best twenty-five goals.

The Fighting Saints will host the Des Moines Buccaneers for the only time this regular season on Wednesday. The team will play a home-and-home series with Cedar Rapids next weekend: on the road Friday, and at home the following night.

Tonight's game will feature Board Game Bonanza, with fans having chances to experience their favorite board games as never before throughout the evening.
