DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Fighting Saints will dust off the Super Nintendo to feature their favorite video game characters during the matchup against the Sioux City Musketeers on Saturday, March 10. Super 'Mar10' Night will give the team a chance to pay tribute to classic video games throughout the evening. Super Mar10 Day is an unofficial holiday popularized by video game enthusiasts that celebrates the most famous character in video game history.

The highlight of the night will be an on-ice version of Mario Kart during one of the intermissions, featuring Power Wheels and real banana peels. Other real-life versions of classic video games will be presented throughout the evening, including a rendition of Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, complete with oversized boxing gloves. Additionally, fans will have a chance to win prizes by naming classic video game characters, and one lucky contestant will get to choose a prize from one of three chests, à la Super Mario Brothers 3.

Tickets to the game are available by phone at (563) 583-6880 and in person at the Mystique Community Ice Center from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on game night up until the start of the second period. Tickets are available 24 hours a day online at DubuqueFightingSaints.com.
