Fighting Saints Players to Model at Bridal Expo

DUBUQUE, Iowa - After two home games at home on Friday and Saturday night, nine Fighting Saints players will have an opportunity to show off their fashion sense at the Beaus and Belles Bridal Show, presented by QueenB Radio at the Holiday Inn in downtown Dubuque. The players will strut down the catwalk in a variety of outfits from tuxedos to vacation-wear, and Fighting Saints broadcaster Patrick Murray will emcee the event.

The Bridal Show runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the fashion show taking place between noon and 1 p.m. In addition to the fashion show and vendors who will be present at the event, numerous prizes are available to event attendees. The Grand Prize includes a pair of 14k white gold dangle diamond earrings from Doland Jewelers valued at $1,200, a $500 gift certificate for a wedding reception at the Holiday Inn, and a $250 bridal basket from Soiree Bridal. In addition to the Grand Prize, many exciting door prizes are available from each of the vendors at the show.

The Fighting Saints play twice this weekend - hosting Green Bay on Friday and Sioux City the following night. Tickets to the games are available by phone at (563) 583-6880 and in person at the Mystique Community Ice Center from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on game night up until the start of the second period.
