Fighting Saints Partner with Hawkeye Care Center

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Dubuque Fighting Saints are proud to announce a partnership with Hawkeye Care Center in Dubuque. The first-of-its-kind synergy between sports team and retirement community will create a lasting impact at Fighting Saints games during the 2021-22 season.

Hawkeye Care Center Fan Services will be the go-to place for fans to receive information about the upcoming game with the nightly game notes, and get any questions answered before or during the game. Fans can purchase chuck-a-pucks, retrieve lost items, and gather for nightly promotions at Hawkeye Care Center Fan Services. Additionally, more information about Hawkeye Care Center, the tri-state area's premier, locally-owned senior living center.

"We are excited to partner with Hawkeye Care Center for the upcoming season. Our partnership will feature some unique promotions brand new to Fighting Saints fans that we are ecstatic to unveil," said Casey Weitz, the Fighting Saints' VP of Corporate Partnerships. "To partner with Hawkeye Care Center, who has been established in Dubuque for 50 years, is important to us. We look forward to showcasing one of Dubuque's hidden gems in Hawkeye Care Center, who provides wonderful services for rehab and senior living care."

Hawkeye Care Center will sponsor an upcoming home game during the 2021-22 season, which will feature a supply drive, and a rally towel giveaway to the first 1,000 fans that enter Our House.

Ten seniors will be honored during upcoming Seats for Seniors Nights throughout the 2021-22 season. One Hawkeye Care Center resident will win a ticket to one of ten upcoming home games, and a Fighting Saints fan package. Each senior will be recognized during a game timeout.

"Hawkeye Care Center is extremely excited to partner with the Dubuque Fighting Saints. When we were looking at ways to actively engage in our community, the idea of not only partnering with the Saints, but also collaborating with the other partners as well was an absolute hat trick in our minds," said Devin Juel, Director of Marketing and Community Relations at Hawkeye. "Hawkeye Care Center is here to serve others, obviously here in our facility, but we are also engaged and involved in the Dubuque Metro Area and this kind of partnership is the perfect avenue for us to have a bigger reach."

Hawkeye Care Center, located at 5575 Pennsylvania Avenue in Asbury, provides state-of-the-art short-term and long-term living options. They provide skilled nursing rehabilitation, assisted living, memory care-assisted living and long-term nursing care with restorative programming. Hawkeye Care Center ensures life is fulfilling with learning opportunities and events for its residents, and an open dining atmosphere which creates a restaurant-style dining program.
