Dubuque, IA - The Dubuque Fighting Saints (4-0-0-0, 8 pts) host the Omaha Lancers (1-4-0-0, 2 pts) to finish their first home weekend on Saturday night at ImOn Arena.

Here are five things to know ahead of the matchup:

1. Saints Shots

The Fighting Saints launched 40 shots on net in Friday's win over the Lancers. It was their highest total of the season, and their most since March 1, 2025 when they had 45 shots in a 7-2 win over Chicago.

Dubuque peppered the Omaha cage with double-digit shots in all three periods, shooting 18 pucks on net in the second period of the victory.

2. Awesome Apples

Cooper Conway logged a multi-point game for the first time in his career on Friday, assisting on both of Teddy Merrill's goals in the 3-2 win.

Conway pushed the pace for the Saints with a wraparound pass to Merrill for his second goal after a between-the-legs move and no-look pass for Merrill's first.

3. Standing Strong

The Fighting Saints killed all three penalties in the win on Friday over Omaha, improving their penalty-kill percentage to 89.5% this season.

Dubuque has stopped 17 of 19 opposing power plays this season after the perfect night against the Lancers. Dubuque has an even goal differential on the penalty kill as well with a pair of shorthanded goals this season.

4. Fleece's First

Masun Fleece scored his first goal as a Fighting Saint in the second period of Friday's win. Fleece took a faceoff win by Charlie Arend toward the slot and ripped a snapshot off the post and into the net.

Fleece entered the season with 73 career games played in the USHL and 11 career goals. His first with the Saints was his third point of the season overall.

5. Lancer Links

Devin Shakar stopped 39 of 42 shots from the Saints on Friday and has appeared in all five games for Omaha so far.

The Lancers' goals on Friday were from a pair of familiar faces in Dubuque. Former RoughRider Kole Hyles launched the first goal for Omaha before former Fighting Saints affiliate player Ryan Aaronson potted Omaha's second.

Saturday's game begins at 7:05 p.m. CDT at ImOn Arena and tickets are available here. The game can also be found on Eagle 102.3 and FloHockey.
