
Fever Bowling Tournament Slated for August 3

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever Bowling Tournament will take place on Wednesday, August 3 at Pinheads in Fishers (6:30 p.m.). The entire Fever team and coaching staff serve up strikes at its 10th annual bowling tournament which benefits the Be YOUnique Fund, a grant fund of the Pacers Foundation that assists organizations that serve young women and girls.
Fever sponsors, season ticket holders, fans and local sports celebrities are treated to a night of bowling fun, pizza, autographs and a silent auction that includes unique memorabilia courtesy of the Fever, other WNBA teams and items of local interest.
The 2010 tournament raised nearly $13,000 for the Be YOUnique Fund.
A team of four can bowl with a celebrity for $400. Individuals may register for $125 and be placed on a team. The deadline for participation is Monday, July 11. Fans or sponsors may register on FeverBasketball.com or by contacting Roberta Courtright at (317) 917-2757.
