Approximately a dozen adoptable dogs and cats
WHAT
The Indiana Fever hosts its annual Adopt A Pet Night which began in 2003 at the urging of former Fever coach Nell Fortner. Indianapolis Animal Care & Control annually finds homes for almost all of its dogs and cats on this night.
All the pets have their shots, are spayed or neutered, microchipped and are available for adoption that night for only $60. Plus, anyone that adopts a pet that night will receive a Fever pet adoption prize pack with things need for the new addition to the family!
WHEN
Thursday, August 27
Pets available for viewing and adoption on Main Concourse, through 3rd quarter
- 5-5:30 p.m. - Pets arrive with Indianapolis Animal Care & Control (available for TV live shots)
- 6:00 p.m. - Doors open
- 7:00 p.m. - Indiana Fever vs. San Antonio Silver Stars
