Hagerstown Suns News Release
HAGERSTOWN, MD - The Hagerstown Suns will play host to the Lake County Captains for three games this upcoming week, starting with the first Feed Your Face Monday of the 2009 season on April 27 at 6:35 p.m. Hagerstown opened its season on the road two weeks ago by taking three out of four games from Lake County, an affiliate of the Cleveland Indians.
Suns fans can cheer for more success against the Captains on Monday while enjoying an all-you-can-eat menu of ballpark food as part of Feed Your Face Monday, presented by WAYZ 104.7. Admission to the game will be $13 for VIP seats and $10 for General Admission seats, with fans receiving unlimited servings of select food items throughout the game as part of the price of the ticket.
For the second game of the series, on Tuesday at 6:35, regular ticket pricing of $9 for VIP seats and $7 for General Admission seats will be back in effect - with one important exception. Tuesdays, of course, are Senior Tuesdays at Municipal Stadium, and all fans ages 60 and up will receive admission to the game for just $2. It will also be Bingo Tuesday, presented by Equipped for Life, with every fan receiving a Bingo card that corresponds to plays that may transpire on the field during the game. Fans who complete a "Bingo" will be eligible for great prizes at the Suns' Fan Services station.
The third and final game of the homestand will be the inaugural Education Day of 2009, which means an early 10:35 a.m. start and the chance for local schools to receive reduced pricing on a trip the ballpark. Gates will open at 9:05 a.m., and baseball-themed educational activities will take place on the field prior to and during the game. Schools interested in attending any of the three games included in the Hagerstown Suns' Education Days program can still schedule a trip by contacting Ben Burnett, Suns' Senior Director of Ticket Sales, at 301-791-6266, or by e-mail at benburnett@hagerstownsuns.com
All Suns fans should also be advised that less than one month remains to purchase the All-You-Can-Eat Hall of Fame ticket package for the 2009 season. For just $39, fans can receive tickets to the five most-popular Suns' games of the season, with an all-you-can-eat meal included in the price of the ticket. The package also includes a limited-edition Suns hat and t-shirt, and can be purchased by calling the Suns' ticket office at 301-791-6266.
