DJIBY SCORES 'EM ALL, NAMED USL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Early into the season, Djiby has already inked his name into the FCC record books after a four-goal performance.

The forward from Thiès, Senegal became the first FCC player to register a hat-trick as well as a four-goal game, accomplishing the feat in the same match.

His performance garnered the USL Player of the Week honors, becoming the first FCC to come away with the title.

Djiby vaulted to the top of the USL statistical list, scoring all six goals for the team and tops the league with 17 shots.

COMING FROM ALL DIRECTIONS

Although Djiby and Andrew Wiedeman hooked up twice to open the season and put away the club's first two goals, four different individual stepped up for the assist in the game against Saint Louis FC.

Matt Bahner had the cross on the first goal, sending in a long volley in the 35th minute, minutes after the Cincinnati native nearly had a goal of his own.

Bahner, who made five interceptions, earned a spot on the USL Team of the Week.

Harrison Delbridge jumped onto the scoresheet in stoppage time in the first half after heading in a failed Saint Louis FC clearance back to Djiby, who turned and left-footed the ball into the back of the net.

The third goal came in the 48th minute after Corben Bone picked up a pass from Kenney Walker and forced goalie Devala Gorrick to come out to defend before slipping the ball to a wide-open Djiby.

The final goal was registered in the 62nd minute off the pass from Kenney Walker, who put the ball just in front of Djiby to head it in for his fourth header.

SECOND CLEAN SHEET FOR FCC

The FCC defense did its part, preserving the shutout for the club's second on the year.

FCC limited Saint Louis FC to just two shots in the second half after facing five in the first period.

Tyler Polak and Bahner combined for nine interceptions with the duo joined by Kadeem Dacres to lead the team with four tackles apiece.
