FC Tulsa Looks to Defeat Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC Twice in a Row

TULSA - FC Tulsa rematches against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC at ONEOK Field this Saturday, May 11 after defeating them on Tuesday in the U.S. Open Cup Round of 32.

Standings: FC Tulsa enters the match with a record of 2W-2L-3D ranking 7th in the Western Conference. Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC enters the match with a record of 3W-3L-3D and ranking 5th in the Eastern Conference.

FC Tulsa's Last Match: FC Tulsa's last regular season match was against Birmingham Legion FC. FC Tulsa visited Birmingham, Alabama where Phillip Goodrum scored the opening goal only 21 minutes into the match. Another goal came as Stefan Stojanovic took an assist from Arthur Rogers as the ball went across the goal and Stojanovic tapped it in. FC Tulsa had a 2-0 lead much into the second half. Birmingham Legion FC's Enzo Martínez scored a come back goal in the 70th minute and then during stoppage time, Stéfano Pinho scored the equalizing goal.

Last Matchup Against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC: FC Tulsa is returning to ONEOK Field after just defeating Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC in the U.S. Open Cup Round of 32 on Tuesday. The lone goal in the 1-0 FC Tulsa win came as Phillip Goodrum drilled in a heater goal in the 88th minute. Justin Portillo has been a huge key in supplying his teammates with the ball. Portillo has been the main corner kick taker this season and has supplied multiple chances for FC Tulsa's scoring. Portillo leads FC Tulsa in chances created with 16 and is tied for first in assists (2) alongside Blaine Ferri and Arthur Rogers.

Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC Midfielder Kenardo Forbes became the USL Championship's all-time leader in assists and became the league leader in career minutes played. Forward Kaziah Sterling had his second goal of the season joining Forward Edward Kizza as the team's scoring leaders this season with two goals each.
