INDIANAPOLIS - Indy Eleven has today announced a partnership with the Indiana Black Expo, which is highlighted by the club serving as a sponsor for IBE's Summer Celebration, with the mission of further exposing IBE's youth to soccer in the Circle City and beyond.
One of the largest cultural events in the country, the IBE Summer Celebration will take place June 20-30, 2024 and include the Music Heritage Outdoor Concert at Michael A. Carroll Stadium as well as a variety of events and attractions.
"Indy Eleven is looking forward to partnering with the Indiana Black Expo to give its members exclusive experiences with Indiana's Team on match day and beyond," said Indy Eleven President & CEO Greg Stremlaw. "The Summer Celebration is one of the most exciting events to take place in Indianapolis and Indy Eleven can't wait to support the Children's Zone."
The exhibit will feature engaging activities for youth of all ages during the Summer Celebration, with Indy Eleven offering fun and interactive soccer happenings.
Additionally, as part of what continues to be an expanding partnership, IBE members will receive exclusive ticket deals to Indy Eleven matches during the month of May against Hartford Athletic (May 18) and 2023 USL Champion Phoenix Rising FC (May 25), along with merchandise deals at The Indy Eleven Shop.
"IBE welcomes Indy Eleven inside the Children's Zone at this year's Summer Celebration. Indy Eleven's mission to showcase the next level of soccer aligns with the focus of our Children's Zone which is to provide interactive exhibits, resources and information designed to engage youth and families in a variety of activities, including sports," said IBE President & CEO Alice Watson.
The Indiana Black Expo "celebrates cultural diversity and inclusiveness across all races, ethnicities, nationalities, generations, socioeconomic levels and religious affiliations." The organization also seeks to provide unique events and programs that reflect the changing landscape of Indiana and the world. With 12 chapter affiliates across the state of Indiana, IBE is committed to excellence through personal enhancement and community development with the goal of improving quality life for all.
