FRISCO, Texas (Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008) - FC Dallas General Manager Michael Hitchcock today announced that the team has re-signed defender Drew Moor and goalkeeper Dario Sala. Terms of the deals were not released per team and league policy.

Moor, a Dallas-native, started 27 games in 2008 and finished second on the team amongst field players with 2,430 minutes played. The 24-year-old appeared at both central defense and on the right side of the back line, and led all Dallas defenders with two goals while adding one assist. The team's first pick in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft (6th overall), Moor took on an increased leadership role in 2008, wearing the captain's armband seven times. Additionally, Moor earned three of his five caps with the U.S. National Team this year, including a World Cup Qualifier at Barbados on June 22.

Sala started 28 games during the 2008 campaign, matching his MLS career-high set in 2006, while also posting career-bests in minutes played (2,520) and shutouts (seven). The seven clean sheets are the most by a Dallas goalkeeper since Matt Jordan totaled nine in 2001, and the fourth-year Dallas 'keeper is now second behind Jordan on the club's all-time shutouts list with 18. Sala finished the season with a 1.32 goals against average, helping lead the team to the fourth-best goal differential (+4) in Major League Soccer.
