
Fayetteville holds off Havoc

HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Fayetteville Fire Antz scored two straight goals after the Huntsville Havoc tied the game at 3-3 and held on for 5-4 win Thursday night.
Mike Degurse scored two goals for Huntsville and Josh Liebenow and Aaron Lewis added one each. Brad McDonald had three assists while Jason deGeuhery, Liebenow, Derek McKinlay and Dan Buccella all had one.
Jamie Miller scored two goals for the Fire Antz while Jeff Mead, Jeff Coulter and Shawn Edwards all scored one. Chad Peck, Steve Roberts and Mike Fournier had two assists and Kory Baker had one.
Fayetteville was 1-of-2 on the powerplay and Huntsville was 1-of-6.
The Havoc will travel to Macon tomorrow night to take on the Trax.
