LAST REGULAR-SEASON MEETING: 41-24 loss, July 30, 2004, Winnipeg @ Edmonton @ Commonwealth Stadium... the Edmonton Eskimos – and in particular, quarterback Jason Maas – could do no wrong against a Bomber side that appeared lifeless and unmotivated... Maas set a new CFL record for consecutive pass completions with 22, breaking the former mark held by Joe Paopao (18 passes, Joe Paopao, British Columbia, British Columbia vs. Toronto, Sept. 22, 1979)... Maas ended the game 27-of-30 for 535 yards, four touchdowns, zero interceptions and a 195.8 passer efficiency rating...

Winnipeg quarterback Khari Jones gave one of the grittiest performances in the history of Winnipeg Blue Bombers Football in this game when he came off the bench for starter Pat Barnes...
