
Corus Entertainment and CFL sign agreement for 2004 Grey Cup radio broadcast rights

Toronto, Canada - The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today that it has reached an agreement with Corus Entertainment for the exclusive radio rights to broadcast this year's Grey Cup championship game from Frank Clair Stadium in Ottawa on Sunday, November 21st.
"Working with Corus, the CFL further extends its reach to football fans across Canada through the live radio broadcast of Grey Cup which includes innovative pre and post-game programming," said Brent Scrimshaw, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships at the CFL. "We're excited to once again be working with Corus as our Grey Cup Radio Partner."
Through Deep Sky Sound Marketing Ideas, the network arm of Corus Radio, the Grey Cup game will be covered on most Corus radio stations, including CHED-AM (Edmonton), CHQR-AM (Calgary), CJOB-AM (Winnipeg), CHML-AM (Hamilton), and CFMJ-AM (Toronto) as well as on a syndicated network of stations in other Corus markets and markets not covered by Corus. The championship broadcast will consist of a one-hour pre-game show, play-by-play coverage of the Grey Cup 2004 game and a half-hour post-game show.
