Elmira Pioneers News Release
Elmira Pioneers fans can cheer for their new owners with the latest promotion announced by the team.
When Hideo Nomo, Hideki Irabu or Mac Suzuki are credited with a win, Pioneer fans can redeem their ticket stub from that evening's game for a free admission to a future Pioneers Sunday or Monday home game.
Watch the starting lineup board at the Dunn Field entrance for the latest statistics of our team's owners and latest info on which tickets are redeemable for future free admissions.
Fans can cheer for Nomo in tonight's (Friday, July 26) game between Los Angeles and San Francisco. If Hideo Nomo is credited with the victory, all fans in attendance at this evening's Elmira Pioneers game vs. the Adirondack Lumberjacks can use their ticket stub for free admittance to a future Sunday or Monday game.
The three Japanese pitchers are part of the Silex Corporation which bought a majority ownership of the Elmira Pioneers in March. They are the only active major leaguers to concurrently own a minor-league team.
