Fans Receive Opening Night Tix with RBK Jersey Purchase

Peoria, Ill. (September 29, 2008) - As part of the league-wide marketing partnership between Reebok/CCM and the American Hockey League, the Peoria Rivermen announced today that the first 50 fans who purchase an Rbk Edge Premier jersey at the Rivermen Team Merchandise Shop - The Captain's Quarters - will receive a pair of Upper Bowl tickets to the Rivermen Home Opener on Saturday, October 11 against the Iowa Chops at 7:00 PM.
On Saturday, October 11, the Rivermen commence the home schedule of their 27th season of professional hockey in Central Illinois. It is Heritage Bank Magnet Schedule Night; the first 5,000 fans receive a magnet schedule that also acts as a picture frame. One lucky fan will take home a Frigidaire refrigerator to put their magnet schedule on, courtesy of the UFS Downtown Outlet Center.
Prior to the game, all fans are invited to our pre-game "Smoke The Chops!" tailgate just outside the Jefferson Street entrance of Carver Arena. It is presented by Alwan & Sons Meat Company, Anheuser-Busch, Brewers Distributing, Coca-Cola and Centerplate.
