Canucks Reduce Roster; Send Four To Manitoba

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced today they have reduced their training camp roster by four players and re-assigning them to Manitoba. As a result, the Canucks now have 37 players on their roster.

The following players were re-assigned to the Moose:

Dan Gendur Right Wing

Michael Grabner Left Wing

Pierre-Cedric Labrie Left Wing

Daniel Rahimi Defence

Gendur, 21, appeared in 60 games last season with the Everett Silvertips of the WHL where he scored 84 points (29-55-84). In 200 games in the WHL, the Vancouver, BC native collected 144 points (55-89-144) with Everett and the Prince George Cougars.

Grabner, 21, appeared in 74 games with the Moose in his rookie season where he scored 44 points (22-22-44). He has played in 76 career games with the Moose and scored 46 points (23-23-46) as well as 12 Calder Cup playoff games where he's recorded three goals.

Labrie, 21, played in 67 games in his rookie pro season in Manitoba where he collected 18 points (17-11-18) and 108 penalty minutes.

Rahimi, played in 41 games in 2007-08 with the Moose where he scored five points (3-2-5). He also played in 19 games with Victoria of the ECHL and collected five assists.
