
Worcester Sharks Announce Training Camp Roster And Exhibition Game Schedule

WORCESTER, MA- The Worcester Sharks announced today their initial 2008-09 training camp roster. Training camp will commence on Monday, September 29 with practices and a scrimmage at the Hart Center at the College of the Holy Cross. The announcement was made today by Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr.
Players will train at the DCU Center, as well as the Hart Center at the College of the Holy Cross. Morning practices will be held on September 29th and 30th at the Hart Center from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will be open to the public.
On October 1st-4th and 6th-7th, players will skate from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the DCU Center, and will also participate in four exhibition games during that time, including the hosting of games in Framingham and Fitchburg. Listed below is the entire exhibition game schedule:
October 1st @ Hartford at Trinity College (7 p.m.)
October 3rd @. Springfield at MassMutual Center (7:30 p.m.)
October 4th vs. Hartford at Loring Arena in Framingham (7 p.m.)
October 5th vs. Manchester at Wallace Civic Center in Fitchburg presented by the Sentinel & Enterprise (4 p.m.)
Training camp will conclude with the Season Ticket Holders' Meet the Team Party at the Boston Billiard Club. All season ticket holders will have the chance to meet and greet their favorite Sharks players on Wednesday, October 7th at 5:30 p.m.

The Sharks will open their third season in Lowell on Saturday, October 11th at 7:00 p.m. Worcester will then travel to Glens Falls in New York to battle the River Rats on the October 17th at 7:30 p.m., and then return home for the team's home opener against Providence on October 18th at 7:05 p.m. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive All-Star bobbleheads and magnet schedules courtesy of Charter Communications! All fans will also be treated to a pre-game concert by Joshua Tree, a U2 tribute band!
