Fans Invited to Meet the Team on Wednesday

Fort Wayne, IN - TinCaps fans will have their first opportunity to meet and get autographs from the 2013 Fort Wayne TinCaps on Wednesday, April 3rd, starting at 5:00 p.m. The team will hold a workout at the ballpark, with an autograph session to follow. Admission to the event is free.
Fans are encouraged to bring items they would like to have autographed, or they can stop by The Orchard team store to see the new selection of memorabilia available for the 2013 season.
This year's Opening Day roster is laden with top picks from the San Diego farm system. The starting rotation will include four first-round or supplemental first-round draft picks. The roster includes five of the Padres' top-30 prospects according to Baseball America's 2013 rankings. Eight players from the 2012 Eastern Division Championship return, along with Manager José ValentÃ-n.
The TinCaps' home opener is April 11th at 7:05 p.m. against the Lake County Captains. Opening Night features post-game fireworks and is a Thirsty Thursday with $1.00 beer specials.
