The New Jersey Cardinals, Netcong Physical Therapy, and Bagful O Bagels are teaming up on Sunday, August 7th at Skylands Park for Fan Appreciation Nightas the Cardinals take on the Batavia Muckdogs (Philadelphia Phillies) at 5pm. The many giveaways include: autographed baseballs from former New Jersey Cardinals players Matt Morris, Coco Crisp, Adam Kennedy, Esix Snead, and Bo Hart. Fans will also have the chance to win a hockey stick autographed by New Jersey Devils winger John Madden, and two tickets to the first ever New York Penn League All-Star game in Brooklyn.
Throughout the night Cardinals fans will have the opportunity to win gift certificates to local businesses, including Lafayette House, Modells Sporting Goods and more. As the grand prize, two lucky fans will walk away with a FREE VACATION!
Fan Appreciation Night begins a six-game home stand with the Batavia Muckdogs and the Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Cleveland Indians). Other giveaways this week include Kids Eat Free and a Rally Cow Bobblehead on Monday and a Coco Crisp Bobblehead on Tuesday. The Mahoning Valley Scrappers make their way to New Jersey to face the Cardinals in the first of a three-game series on Wednesday, August 10th. There will be a Miller Bat Raffle on Wednesday, followed by a new theme, Tropical Thursday. This night brings the tropical environment to the ballpark with frozen drinks, leis, and many contests and giveaways with a tropical twist. The week closes out with a Massive Fireworks Extravaganza.
