LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars close out the 2017-18 home schedule at the Ice Box with Fan Appreciation/Huge Announcement Night on Saturday, Apr. 7 at 7:05 p.m. against the Tri-City Storm.

The long-awaited huge announcement will be revealed to the public at 6:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive starting at 5:30 p.m. and take their seats as Stars Owner Ryan Schiff and Sr. Director of Marketing, Promotions and Corporate Partnerships Jessica Framke reveal the anticipated details.

Following the announcement, a large course of surprises and giveaways will be made public and given to all fans in attendance. In addition, the Stars will host a post-game autograph session with the team on the ice right after the game.

The Stars clinched a berth into the 2018 Clark Cup Playoffs on Wednesday night but have a chance to secure fifth place over their direct opponent for that position, the Tri-City Storm. The Stars will meet the Storm for the first time since December 28 and begin not only a home-and-home series but also close the season with three of four games head-to-head. The Stars need five points over their final four games to secure fifth place in the Western Conference. The Stars own a 73-42-3-5 record against the Storm since 2002-03.

Tickets for Saturday's game and Fan Appreciation/Huge Announcement Night are available by calling 402-474-7827, going to LincolnStars.com or stopping by the box office. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The Stars have clinched a spot in the 2018 Clark Cup Playoffs. Tickets for upcoming games will go on sale this Monday, Apr. 9. The Stars mobile app is also available in the iTunes and Play stores with "tap to buy" tickets, in-game push notifications and a rewards program that puts fans in the skates of a player.
