- The Falcons won their first road game on Friday since November 27. Both victories have come against the Hartford Wolf Pack.
- Springfield entered a shootout for just the second time this season in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Providence.
- The Falcons allowed 23 shots on Saturday, the lowest all season.
- Providence tallied only three shots in the third period of Saturday's game, the lowest the Falcons have allowed in a single period all season.
- Springfield plays Hershey this weekend for the second time after losing 5-1 to open the season.

- Ross Mauermann scored his first two-goal game in Friday's 3-2 win over Hartford.

Friday, Jan. 15 vs. Hartford Wolf Pack: Teddy Bear Pools and Spas chuck-a-puck: The second intermission chuck-a-puck grand prize has reached a total of $3,600. During the toss, any fan who lands their puck on the nose of teddy bear logo will win the prize. Pucks are available for $2 a puck or $6 for 5 pucks and sold outside section 1 and 12.
Community Brief:
Tuesday, Jan. 12 - Enfield Twin Rinks: Defenseman Alex Grant and forwards Brendan Shinimin and Domenic Monardo will skate with the Jr. Falcons and assist in running practice.
Wednesday, Jan. 13 - Link to Library: Screech and broadcaster Andy Zilch will visit four local schools to promote the importance of reading and encourage the local reading program.
