Heat Assign Heard to Adirondack

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL's Calgary Flames, announce that forward Mitchell Heard has been assigned to the Heat's ECHL affiliate, the Adirondack Thunder.

Heard, 23, has played four games for the Heat since being recalled back on December 27, earning his first AHL point of the season, an assist, on December 29 against Ontario.

Despite having not played for the Thunder since December 26, Heard still ranks as the team's second leading scorer with 23 points. He was recalled by the Heat after a four point night against the Manchester Monarchs where he scored 2 goals and added 2 assists.
