
Falcons Sign Roe, Reassign New to Everblades

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons announced today the team has signed defenseman Logan Roe to a Professional Tryout Contract. In a separate transaction, the Falcons have reassigned defenseman Daniel New to the Florida Everblades (ECHL).
The 24-year-old Roe dressed in 58 games with the Everblades this year posting 2-13-15, 32 penalty minutes (PIM) and a plus-23 rating. Roe is playing in his first professional season after skating at Canisius College the previous four seasons.
The 27-year-old New played in 18 games with the Falcons this season registering four assists and four PIM. The 6-foot-1 190 pound native of White Plains, NY has totaled 117 career AHL games posting 6-30-36 and 65 PIM with the Falcons and the Binghamton Senators.
The Falcons host Daniel Briere Bobblehead Night presented by Stop & Shop on Sunday, April 10 against the Providence Bruins at 5 p.m. Briere will be in attendance and honored prior to the game. An autograph session will be held with the Falcons legend following the puck drop until the end of the first intermission.
