
Falcons Sign Glukhov to PTO

Springfield, Mass. â The Springfield Falcons, American Hockey League affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning, today announced that the club has signed forward Alexei Glukhov to a professional tryout agreement.
Glukhov, 21, was selected by the Lightning in the ninth round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-3, 176-pound forward recorded 17 points (5g, 12a) in 32 games with Victoria of the ECHL this season. Glukhov skated 29 contests with his hometown Voskresensk of the Russian Elite League last season as well as nine games with the club before joining Victoria this season.
Glukhov will join the Falcons in time for the team's road game versus the Portland Pirates on Friday evening. The Falcons will play their 2004-05 home finale on Saturday against the Hartford Wolf Pack at the Springfield Civic Center.
