Falcons Reassign Brad Farynuk To Stockton

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they have reassigned defenseman Brad Farynuk to their ECHL affiliate, the Stockton Thunder, and Farynuk will participate in both the 2008 ECHL All-Star Skills Competition on Tuesday and will play in the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game on Wednesday in Stockton, California.
Farynuk has been recalled by the Falcons on four occasions this season and the Enderby, British Columbia native has played in four games with Springfield this year not registering a point. In 28 games with the Thunder this season, the Stockton captain has three goals and 12 assists for 15 points and is third among all Stockton defensemen in scoring.
The Falcons return to action this weekend when they head to Providence on Friday, followed by hosting the Worcester Sharks on Saturday, January 26 at the MassMutual Center starting at 7:00 pm. Single game tickets for the 2007-08 regular season are on sale at the MassMutual Center Box Office and online at ticketmaster.com.
