Falcons Lose To Wolf Pack 3-1

January 16, 2009 - The Springfield Falcons lost to the Hartford Wolf Pack 3-1 on Friday night at the XL Center in Hartford, CT. Each team had plenty of power play chances in the first period as Rob Schremp opened the scoring at 3:53 with a power play goal giving the Falcons a 1-0 lead. Hartford's Pierre Parenteau tied the score at 1-1 when he converted on the man advantage at 18:47 of the opening frame.

After a scoreless second period, Hartford took their first lead of the game at 1:23 of the third period when Corey Potter scored on the power play giving the Pack a 2-1 advantage. Mike Ouellette added an insurance goal at 16:09 of the final frame giving Hartford a 3-1 win.
