
Falcons A-10 on display this weekend

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons are pleased to announce, in partnership with the Massachusetts (MA) Air National Guard - Barnes ANGB, Westfield, that they will be unveiling the Springfield Falcons' A-10 military jet this weekend at the 2005 Westfield International Air Show. The 2005 Westfield International Air Show will be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 27th & 28th, 8-4 p.m. at the Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield, MA. The "Falcon" A-10 will feature the Springfield Falcons' logos throughout the jet.
In addition to unveiling the A-10, Screech will be on hand to greet fans both days. Head Coach Dirk Graham will be available for autographs from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, August 27th. The Falcons will also have their ALL-NEW Team Van on display at the event.
"We are so excited about our partnership with the MA Air National Guard - Barnes ANGB, Westfield," said Falcons' Manager of Community Relations, Carole Appleton. "Having the Falcons logo on an A-10 is just unbelievable! We have so many things planned with the MA Air National Guard - Barnes ANGB, Westfield - A-10, team poster giveaway, flight crew, and on and on."
