Bloomington Extreme News Release

The Bloomington Extreme of the United Indoor Football League is on pace to set a record for total overall attendance. The Extreme has drawn a league-high 33,554 people for an average of 5,592 to six games at U.S. Cellular Coliseum this season.

The Extreme has drawn the top five crowds in the league to different games and has six of the top seven attendance figures. Bloomington is the only team in the league to have 5,000 or more fans at each of its games.

Overall, the 11 teams in the league have attracted 208,734 fans to 62 games for an average of 3,367 people. The largest crowd to witness a game in the UIF this season was 6,387 on May 19 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum when the Extreme defeated Ohio Valley.

The Extreme returns to action Saturday with a 7:05 p.m. game against Colorado at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Both teams have a 5-6 record.

The first 5,000 fans will receive a team photo, compliments of the Pantagraph. Tickets for all Extreme games, priced as low as $10, are on sale at the Coliseum box office, 101 S. Madison Street, Bloomington.
