WINDSOR, ON - The Windsor Express defeated the Montreal Jazz,115-73, Feb.27 at the WFCU Centre.
The 42-point margin was the highest point differential for an Express game this season. All players on the Express roster scored a minimum of 3 points.
Victor Morris led his team in scoring with 20 points, hitting four three-pointers. Kevin Loiselle nearly had a triple-double, scoring 16 points, collecting 16 rebounds and dishing out eight assists. Five other Express players scored in double-digits.
Among some of the many highlights during the game included two alley-oop dunks by Daniel Rose that sent the crowd at the WFCU Centre into a frenzy right before half-time. Rose influenced the second half with two other dunks and finished with 12 points and eight rebounds.
J.R. Harrison led the Jazz with 20 points, while Terance Licorish and Courtland Bluford each scored 18 points.
The win puts the Express record to 16-18 and sets them up for a weekend match-up with the Saint John Mill Rats and Oshawa Power at the WFCU Centre, Mar.1 and 2.
As always, children under 13 are free with each paying adult.
