'Express to the Trades' Event April 20

The Windsor Express has partnered with local labour leaders and community partners to provide 'Express To The Trades' - Skilled Trades Expo to all Grades 7-12 students prior to its game against the Sudbury Five on April 20.
The Skilled Trades Expo is free to all Grades 7-12 students and includes two tickets (one for student and one for parent/guardian), student food voucher, swag bag, and an entry into a draw for St. Clair College Scholarships. Doors open at the WFCU Centre at 5pm with the Expo taking place from 5pm-7pm, in advance of the 7pm tip-off between the Windsor Express and the Sudbury Five.
Students holding value added tickets for the Expo can enjoy the Express game free of charge. All Grades 7-12 students from across Windsor-Essex can register for the Skilled Trades Expo online at www.windsorexpress.ca.
"The Express is excited to welcome this partnership with local labour leaders to host a Skilled Trades Expo for secondary school students," said Dartis Willis, president and CEO of the Express.
"With the recent developments in Winds0r-Essex, the skilled trades are of even more importance in providing positive outcomes for our community. This event will provide an opportunity for students to learn more about the skilled trades in an interactive, informative, and fun environment."
