February 11, 2015 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Windsor Express News Release
(WINDSOR, ON) The Windsor Express will be making a special presentation prior to the game on Friday, February 13th at the WFCU Centre.
Before the Express put their 13-0 home record to the test against the London Lightning, President and CEO, Dartis Willis will present the Welcome Centre Shelter for Women with a donation collected through this year's "Clash at the Colosseum II", held at Caesars Windsor in January.
The Welcome Centre Shelter for Women provides programs to help women end the cycle on homelessness, poverty and violence in their lives.
The centre operates a 12 bed shelter facility, offering programs, such as an emergency food bank and weekly drop-in programs to encourage women to meet their full potential.
Tickets for the 7:00pm game - along with every other Express home game - are available at the TekSavvy box office inside the WFCU Centre, online at www.wfcu-centre.com or www.windsorexpress.ca.
