Express Sweep Quarterfinals

(MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO) The Windsor Express have won their first playoff series in franchise history.

Windsor took a 38-18 lead after the first quarter and never looked back, as they cruise to a 129-107 victory over the Mississauga Power in Game 3 of the NBL Quarterfinal series.

The Express win the series 3-0 and will face the winner of the Brampton/London series in a best-of-7 Central Division Final.

Stefan Bonneau dropped a game high 33, one of seven Express players to score in double digits.

Kevin Loiselle had 18 points and 7 rebounds, while Chris Commons and George Goode added 14 points each.

Windsor sported a 72-45 lead at halftime and kept the Power at bay, not letting their lead drop past 14 points in the second half.

Mark Gomillia led Mississauga with 23 points in the loss.

Playoff dates for Round 2 have not been announced, but tickets for the semifinals go on sale tomorrow, Friday, March 7th at 10:00am.
