Express Handed First Loss

(WINDSOR, ONTARIO) The 401 rivalry has been tied up.

London took advantage of 23 Express turnovers, as the Lightning evened the season series at 1-1 with a 108-84 win over Windsor.

The Express trailed 51-36 at halftime and were never able to gain any momentum in their comeback attempt.

As usual, this most recent chapter of the rivalry had it's heated moments.

Things got tense with 6:18 left in the 3rd quarter after a hard foul in the Windsor end included some pushing and shoving.

The Express had two technical fouls called against them in the sequence.

Quinnel Brown paced Windsor with a game high 23 points, adding eight rebounds.

Chris Commons grabbed a team high nine boards to go with his 16 points.

New Lightning forward, Jason Forte had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Garrett Williamson led London with 21 points.

The Express return home this Sunday, November 17th, for their first game against the expansion, Brampton A's.
