December 16, 2013 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Windsor Express News Release
(CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI) Two different storms surprised the Windsor Express at the end of their east coast road trip.
After Sunday's game was cancelled because of inclimate weather, the Island Storm (8-6) shot 52% from the field and snapped Windsor's (11-6) brief two game winning streak, knocking off the Express 103-91.
Antonio Ballard's 26 points paced the Storm, who had a 9 point lead at halftime, but gave it up in the fourth quarter, allowing the Express to take an advantage late.
The Island Storm kept fighting though, and outscored Windsor 29-19 in the final frame.
Stefan Bonneau led the Express with 23 points in the loss. DeAndre Thomas had 20 points and a game-high 8 rebounds.
Windsor returns to the WFCU Centre on Friday, December 20th to face the Halifax Rainmen at 7:00pm.
