Expos 5-Game Homestand Starts Tuesday

BURLINGTON, VT --- The Vermont Expos will play 17 of their final 25 games of the season at Centennial Field, beginning this week with a five-game homestand against the Lowell Spinners Tuesday-Thursday and the Oneonta Tigers Friday and Saturday.

Among the promotions this week are a seat cushion giveaway on Wednesday, "Hot Dog Heaven" on Thursday, a performance by Zooperstars on Friday and a baseball cap giveaway on Saturday.

Tuesday, August 10th --- vs. Lowell --- Champ 101.3/102.1 Night!

Marko the Hypnotist will perform during pre-game Pre-Game reading of "Casey at the Bat" by Russ Reilly

Wednesday, August 11th --- vs. Lowell --- University Mall Night!

1,000 Seat Cushion Giveaway Demonstration by Jazzercise on the field during pre-game Karaoke on the concourse area during pre-game Fletcher Free Library table for fans to sign up for free Library cards

Thursday, August 12th --- vs. Lowell --- "Hot Dog Heaven" Night!

.25-cent Hot Dogs sponsored by McKenzie

Friday, August 13th --- vs. Oneonta --- Zooperstars!

"Zooperstars" brought to you by Kinney Drugs Athletes turned Animal mascots like Normar Garciaparrott and Roger Clamens Glow Stick Giveaway

Saturday, August 14th --- vs. Oneonta --- "Night of Blues"!

Blue Cross Blue Shield/Vermont Health Plan 1,000 Baseball Cap Giveaway Performance by Big Joe Burrell & The Unknown Blues Band Scout Sleepover! Boys and Girls Scouts will be sleeping overnight at Centennial

In addition to all of these promotions on the homestand, the Vermont Expos will take place in a couple of community activities this week.

Wednesday, all the Expos players will travel to Camp-Ta-Kum-Ta in Colchester to visit with the campers.

Thursday, the Vermont Expos will hold a Baseball Clinic sponsored by Autosport at Centennial Field from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm for kids 8-16. There are still spots open in the $20 clinic and those interested can get more information by calling the Expos office at 655-4200.
